Marcelo Senra was born on November 2, 1964 in the province of Salta, Argentina. His studies were carried out at the University of Morón in the province of Buenos Aires, then received as an Architect. P>
His background demonstrates a broad trajectory and excellence with awards and international presentations. Among them in 1993 he received the Young Designer Revelation Award. In 1997 he was awarded the Marvo Prize, standing out in the Argentine Fashion category. For the year 1999 was designated by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires to represent the Country in the Carrousell of the Louvre in Paris. In that same year he was awarded the second prize as Designer 2000. In 2000 he received the Silver Tijera award for Best Designer with Identity. P>
During 1991 to 1993 he was a teacher of the Design of Clothing and Textile at the University of Buenos Aires. p>
Its main characteristic is to prevail the artisanal and autochthonous Argentinean and elevate it to a pret a porter urban. Combining a mix of textures and colors and using as distinctive materials: gauze, satins and natural silk cocoons, fabrics made in loom, wool, sheep and vicuna; raffia, cotton, alpaca, silver and Chaguar leathers. p>
